Mapping a Samsung TV for a COM2000

How to map a Samsung TV to a COM2000 and other settings.

Samsung TV Setup Instructions
Channel Mapping Instructions:

1. Press Mute 1, 1, 9, enter,
2. Go to the <channel>option on the menu
3. On the next menu, channel editor.
4. Choose the appropriate channel(s) that you want the TV to display on certain channels.
5. If a channel number is occupied by another station. For example, channel 5 has two different channel feeds (5-1 and 5-2) You must remove all stations or channel feeds from (channel 5) before you can assign the station you want to that specific channel number.

**Note**

1. Some menu maybe minimized, so you may have to press “Return” on the remote to expand the menu
2. To change source use the left or right arrows on the remote.
3. Hit the “return” key on Samsung remote

Factory Reset Steps:

1. make sure unit is powered off.Press Mute 1, 8, 2, power
2. Select Options <factory reset> enter
3. Power on the unit
4. Change your hospitality mode to “stand alone plug and play”
5. Follow setup
6. Hit the “return” key on samsung remote
7. Go to channel set up (Select <cable>)
8. ** Ensure antenna state cable <digital : STD and analog : STD> **
9. Auto program channels (Select “SCAN”)
10. Complete unit setup
11. When programming is done turn display off and on.

Channel set up instructions:

1. Press Mute 1, 1, 9, enter,
2. Change your hospitality mode to “stand alone”
3. Hit the “return” key on samsung remote
4. Scroll to “channel” option
5. Turn your “Dynamic SI” off
6. Hit the “return” key on samsung remote
7. Go to channel set up (Select air/cable/other source)
8. Auto program channels (Select “SCAN”)
9. When programming is done turn display off and on.

Cloning Instructions:

1. Press Mute, 1, 1, 9, ENTER
2. Select Cloning
3. Insert USB
4. Select “TV to USB”
5. When finished remove USB
6. Insert USB into the same model unit
7. Press Mute, 1, 1, 9, ENTER
8. Cloning
9. Select “USB TO TV”
10. Remove when finished and power off and back on
