Error code 711

Meaning: Access Card Is Not Active

Solution: Customer Service needs to activate the receiver. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505

Error code 721

Meaning: Service Isn’t Authorized. Receiver has been unplugged or lost signal for too long or receiver lost authorization.

Solution: Customer Service needs to authorize the receiver. Can also indicate a blackout condition (sports programming). Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 722

Meaning: Service Expired. Service Isn’t Authorized. Receiver has been unplugged or lost signal for too long or receiver lost authorization.

Solution: If IRD was unplugged for an extended period, reconnect IRD & have Customer Service reauthorize. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505

Error Code 724

Meaning: Authorization or Paring Expired Issue

Solution: Contact DIRECTV to resend Pairing or Resend All Authorizations. Please call 1-800-388-2505. If the problem persists, please call Groove Technology Solutions at 801-994- 3642.

Error code 725

Meaning: Authorization or Paring Expired Issue

Error code 726

Meaning: Wrong or Missing RID Number

Solution: Verify Receiver ID on the TV screen and have DIRECTV reauthorize. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 727

Meaning :Program Not Available in Your Area

Solution: Have DIRECTV verify address and resend authorizations. If still not available have Customer Service check for Blackouts or FCC Viewing Restrictions. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 731

Meaning: Access Card Full

Solution: Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 732

Meaning: IPPV Purchase Limit Reached IRD needs to call to download PPV information.

Solution: Once it is downloaded the limit will be once again available. If the issue is not resolved, please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 733

Meaning: IPPV Ordering Disabled

Solution: 60 days with no callback. To resolve callback issue, Customer Service will need to resend all authorizations. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 734

Meaning: Unable to Request IPPV. IPPV flag set to No in the billing system.

Solution: Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 736

Meaning: IPPV (Interactive Pay Per View) has been disabled due to STB not successfully completing a callback in 60 days.

Solution: Either resolve callback issue or disable IPPV flag and resend all authorizations. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 741

Meaning: PPV Data was Missing. Conflict between your current billing information and authorized services.

Solution: PPV event, day and time needs to be escalated by Customer Service to the DIRECTV Support Center; resolution is normally 1 business day. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 743

Meaning: PPV has expired.

Solution: 24 Hour rental period has expired for previously ordered PPV. No fix or refund.

Error code 744

Meaning: Loss of Programming. IRD is not getting authorization.

Solution: Need to reset receiver. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 745

Meaning: Access Card or Reader may be Defective. Access card has had temporary problem processing data.

Solution: Remove the access card from the receiver, wait 10 seconds, insert the access card back into the slot. Make sure the card is inserted logo side up and the arrow side inserted first. Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

If code reappears call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 746

Meaning: Possible Data Corruption. Receiver had a temporary problem processing data.

Solution: Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

Error code 747

Meaning: Unable to Complete OSD when ordering or viewing PPV. OSD says Unable to complete this transaction.

Solution: Have DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505 resend authorizations, then reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

Error code 749

Meaning: Multiswitch Problem

Solution: Make sure DIRECTV multiswitch has power plugged in and all cable connections are hand tight connected to the switch. Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

Error code 750

Meaning: Service Not Active

Solution: Needs to have HD access to be able to view OTA channels. Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot. Error code 751

Meaning: Wrong or Missing Receiver ID Number

Solution: Contact DIRECTV to verify actual receiver ID against the Billing System. Have DIRECTV resend all authorizations. Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505.

Error code 752

Meaning: Information Update Error. Receiver cannot accept a software download or new data updates with the current access card. This message may appear when access cards are being re-paired with IRDs.

Solution: Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. Error code 761

Meaning: Insert Your Card or MRR Service.

Solution: Access card may not be all the way in the IRD. Remove the access card from the receiver, wait 10 seconds, insert the access card back into the slot. Make sure the card is inserted logo side up and the arrow side inserted first.

Error code 762

Meaning: Insert valid access card or MRR Service. Receiver & Access card are not communicating

Solution: Remove the access card from the receiver, wait 10 seconds, insert the access card back into the slot. Make sure the card is inserted logo side up and the arrow side inserted first. If code reappears, please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505. If both fail you may need a replacement access card or receiver. Please call Groove Technology Solutions at 801-994-3642.

Error code 763

Meaning: Access Card Expired. Access card is an older version (period) card.

Solution: Remove the access card from the receiver, wait 10 seconds, insert the access card back into the slot. Make sure the card is inserted logo side up and the arrow side inserted first. Error code 764

Meaning: Please insert your new access card.

Error code 771

Meaning: Searching for Satellite

Solution: Verify the satellite dish is not being blocked by snow or foliage from a tree or bush. Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

Error code 771A

Meaning: Problem Communicating w/ Dish

Solution: SWiM power inserter may not be plugged in or receiving power. Verify system has power to all power inserters and switches.

Error code 771B

Meaning: Problem Communicating w/ Dish or too many receivers or tuners are connected to the SWiM.

Solution: Please call Groove Technology Solutions at 801-994-3642 for additional troubleshooting.

Error code 772

Meaning: No guide data. Possible signal or broadcast issue. Occasionally seen after rain fade.

Solution: If the error code reappears after an hour, additional trouble shooting will be required. Please call Groove Technology Solutions at 801-994-3642.

Error code 775

Meaning: Problem Communicating w/ Dish. SWiM power inserter may need to be plugged in. The network can’t detect the SWiM due to power loss to the SWiM.

Solution: SWiM power inserter may not be plugged in or receiving power. Verify system has power to all power inserters and switches. Verify all connections are tight and in good condition.

Error code 776

Meaning: Problem Communicating w/ Dish. Too many receivers or tuners are connected to SWM switch or SWM channels are failing.

Solution: Please call Groove Technology Solutions at 801-994-3642 for additional troubleshooting.

Error code 777

Meaning: IPPV Ordering Disabled. 60 days with no callback, either resolve callback issue or disable IPPV flag and resend all authorizations.

Solution: Please call DIRECTV at 1-800-388-2505. Follow procedure for 731- Access Card Full.

Error code 780

Meaning: Access Card Full

Solution: Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

Error code 781

Meaning: Antenna Problem, Loss of signal from over-the-air antenna.

Meaning: Replace Receiver. Display says, “Receiver needs to be replaced.”

Solution: Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.

Error code 920

Meaning: Missing Guide Info: Your receiver has not received guide information from the satellite for the past (3-13) hours. This is normally a signal issue and often occurs because there is no signal from the 119 satellite.

Solution: Reset the receiver by pushing the red reset button. This will be located on the front, right side of the receiver behind a small door or on the right side of the receiver by the access card slot.
